Windows clock changing?

Hi guys,

Ever since I reset my CMOS, or maybe even before for all I know, my clock resets sometimes, though rarely.

This can't be common, I know that, so I am asking what could be causing this?

Could my CMOS battery be loose? Even if it was loose wouldn't I be having more problems than an occasional clock change?

Anyone else ever experienced this?

Thanks.

A battery is always my first look-at for clock problems. You can check it's voltage, or simple pop a new on in since they so cheap anyway.

Why are you needing to reset CMOS, and how do you do it without removing the battery? Every time I pull a battery out and move the jumper over the pins, I have to reset the clock. I expect it. Are you opening the case or using some kind of software?
