Fascinating article on Vista's security "enhancements"

Here's a very interesting article on what M$ has put in Vista in terms of DRM. It is crazy stuff. For example, I had no idea that if M$ finds an exploit for a software driver, it will be able to revoke the driver on all Vista computers worldwide until a fix is found. There are ominous things in terms of open-source too.

In the end, the point is made that anything M$ puts into Vista is going to be cracked, just like their previous DRM schemes were cracked, just like CSS on DVD players was cracked, and just like everything else in cracked. So all M$ is doing is adding layers of software complexity that do nothing but bog down your computer and make things less secure.

Makes you wonder just how worth it Vista will be...

Just about everything Ive heard about Vista has been bad. Not even sure if it'll be worth it now >.<
