Reformat new Acer Aspire 5100
Hello all
I have a new acer aspire 5100 laptop with xp media with a 100GB HD and it seems to be partitioned 50/50 with acers recovery on half. I would like to reformat xp pro can this be done w/o having a bunch of problems?  Thanks terry

Yes, as long as you can obtain all necessary drivers and software. I would strongly recommend that you use the Acer utility to burn a full set of recovery media before you do anything.

I did the same thing on my Acer laptop. Acer has all the drivers on their website. I downloaded them to a CD and it works great, doubled my hard drive space.
