Network Modem?

My mom's computer is connected to the router and to the phone. Is there any software I can use to let my computer use my mom's modem and call people from my computer?

No, I want to call people.

All of my computers are connected to a router > cable modem.

I want to use the modem from my mom's computer to call people on my computer using headset.

No. Use a standard telephone with a headset adapter or put a voice capable modem in your computer.

Well, we only have one phone cable, in the dining room. My mom's computer is out there and she has a voice modem. There is no way I could use it over the network?

Nope. What you need is a cordless phone that has a headset jack on the handset.
