how do i install win xp using command line interface
pls somebody should tell me how to use the command line interface to install and troubleshoot win xp

For installation you can not, but for troubleshooting there is the recovery console that is accessed by booting from the XP cdrom.

i think it is possible.
is this because your xp cd will not boot? startup with a boot diskette (like a windows 98 boot diskette that recognizes the cd drive) into dos. then change the directory to the cd. browse to the "i386" folder and type "winnt".

Peekaboo, in order to do that, smartdrv has to be on the bootdisk and it has to be loaded.
