installing xp home sp2

i have new build i jsut did ran into a bit of hardware issue fixed by replacing the ram but now while im installing windows it hangs nad when i try to restart it gives me an error msg (DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_EQUAL tech info 0x000000d1) and does nothing after dat i have to force it off

the system is as follows:

intel duo core 2 6400
asus p5n-sli conroe
xfx geforce 7950 gt
2 gb kingston pc2 5300 655 mhz 2 dimms
western digital 250 gb 7200rpm sata2 16 mb cache
xp home oem edition

What was the hardware issue? Is the RAM tested out? Maybe try one stick at a time to see if you have a problem there. Or will it boot with the old?

Disconnect ALL peripherals except monitor, keyboard, and mouse until Windows is installed. Remove ALL cards except the video card.
