Semi-urgent
Hey folks,
I may have Isass.exe, but I can't tell because the font in windows (XP MCE) is hiding it. How can I change the font? I've tried it in appearances, but nothing I change will make the actual text in a window appear differently. Any ideas? I need to know fairly quickly, because I have a lot of important processes happening right now and can't really afford it if this is the trojan. Thanks a bunch guys.

type "lsa" in the processes box. If the cursor relocates to "lsass.exe", you have your answer.
Repeat as necessary. |

It's best to scan with your antivirus - if it's the baddie it will find it.

Wow, that is incredible. Thanks for that tip!
And glc, I did scan with the anti-virus software, and I am pretty confident (I ran AVG and Kaspersky all over it...the two work as a killer team) in the both of them, but I figured that I may as well go the extra mile to make sure. Besides, now I know a cool new trick! Thanks a lot for the help. Last edited by hitchface; 01-19-2007 at 01:32 AM. |
