How to boot from USB drive?

I am trying to figure out how to boot from a USB drive. My bios doesn't have that option, how do you do that?

does that option not appear even when your usb is plugged in?
have you looked under "hard drives"?

if your motherboard doesn't have that option i believe you cannot boot from a usb device.

You can, you just need to format it properly so that it reads it as a floppy. Check those google sites.

What kind of USB drive are you trying to boot from, what's on it, and what motherboard do you have?
