I have finally managed to ugrade to XP Home Edition, been a few headaches but thanks to all I have learned here I have overcome them all so far. But there is one thing I would like some advice on.
Windows XP has it's own built in Firewall. With Win98se I used Zone Alarm and have never had a problem, it works efficiently and I get automatic updates. What I would like to know is, should I reinstall Zone Alarm and continue using it, or will the built in XP Firewall give me pretty much the same level of protection? If I can avoid installing another program, that would be my preference, but I also want to make sure the protection level will remain at least equal to what I had. If you are recommending I reinstall Zone Alarm, could someone also give me the quick steps I need to shutdown the XP Firewall. As always, any help/advice is always greatly appreciated.

As I remember, you are on dialup. The XP firewall is adequate.

Thanks GLC, yes still on dialup. I can always reinstall Zone Alarm at a later date if I run into problems with XP.
