Need a Boot CD
I have an external USB CD/RW that we use while installing on some small machines that don't have CD drives. I need a bootable CD that will allow me to access the hard drive in whatever computer I'm working on. I'd like to be able to read the directories, delete files and folders, run check disk, or even format the drive if necessary. Is there a downloadable image or application out there for this purpose?

Booting with the WinXP disk and choosing the repair console will allow you to do all those things.

Older mobo's won't support a USB cd drive.....
Might search out BartPE which will have everything you need.
