Are your video drivers installed?

I am sure it probably has to do with the refresh rate of your monitor.

The reason for the two contrasting opinions is due to the vagueness in your original post.
Can you please explain the symptoms a bit more? "pages turning in a book" is a little vague ![]() Thanks |

In the Control Panel, under Mouse, maybe, is a "scroll" rate setting. By default I think it is three lines at a time. Pehaps yours got messed up? It might be under the wheel section, if you have one. Also, in IE > Tools> Internet Options> Advanced, do you have "use smooth scrolling" ticked? If you have TweakUI, an MS Powertoy, installed, there is a setting for the scroll there, too.

In Internet Explorer, go to Tools>Options. On the Advanced tab, see if "Smooth Scroll" is checked. If it is not, check it, click OK, close IE and then restart your system.
See if that makes a difference. Also, see if your graphics drivers are updated. Is there any difference between the graphics hardware and basic system specs for the two systems (ie. onboard vs. discrete graphics hardware, etc.)?
