.net Framework

With .net framework 2.0 installed, can I remove 1.1 without causing any problems?

I don't think it's a problem. My dad was getting an error on his Microsoft Automatic Updates with the .NET 2.0 Security Patches failing to install. I uninstalled the 1.1 and ran a repair of 2.0, and after that the updates took and everything else ran fine.
