Automatic updates won't stop!
Hey all
I'm using Windows XP sp2.. and for some reason the yellow shield won't stop appearing and trying to download Windows Defender Updates... Normally, there wouldn't ever be updates everyday. Even after I let it install the update, it still comes up a few minutes later... Under help and support I went to "review your update history" and the same definition file keeps getting reinstalled Any ideas? thanks a lot guys!

Have you manually gone to Windows Updates and let it scan your pc?

I believe I did scan.
It has been a while since I last posted, so I'll rescan for updates and get back to you if these things keep poping up. Thanks a lot!
