XP Installation Problem
Okay so recently i busted my hard drive from caryying my tower around too much and i bought a new one. I put it in, yea all that then when i went to install XP everything goes fine. It goes to the liscensing agreement part and all that, then it gets to a screen where it says insert the Windows XP Home Edition FULL into the cd-rom drive and hit enter. It's already in there, so i hit enter, but then it doesnt detect it and says it's not the correct cd.
Any ideas o and yes xp came stock with my comp, and i have already used the same cd to reformat my old hd about a month ago. Thanks |

Are you sure this drive is brand new?
Start the install over and delete/recreate the partition.
