I would like a program that tells me if a person opened my email. Outlook does this, but it asks the reader whether they want me to know if they read it. I just want an indication that the email got through and when it was read.

Read receipts require support from the recipient of the e-mail, so unless you are going to install the program on their computer to tell you when they read your e-mail, this will be impossible.

MSGTAG alerts you the moment an email you have sent is opened by the recipient. You ll know when the message was sent, when it was viewed, and the elapsed time in between.
