double-click problem
I was just searching through folders on my computer to change the icons to custom ones and then all of a sudden when i started double clicking on the instead of opening them the default function became to search the folder. i have no idea what i did to cause this and it was a chnge that happened over the course of maybe a second.

What type of mouse are you using? Check the mouse settings in Control Panle>Mouse and see if something has changed.
