XP upgrade question
Can a regular Win XP home edition upgrade a 98pc or do I need to format the whole drive first?
Does anyone know? |

You need to format first.
In fact, even if you had the Upgrade XP version we'd still tell you to format first. In place upgrades just ask for trouble and data loss.

It *CAN* upgrade it but results can be very unpredictable.
