Application Error

I have a Dell Dimention 4600. Today, after downloading some Windows update I have started to get an application error. This is in the attachment. Does anyone know what is causing the error and how to cure it?

Thanks in advance

Ray

Use add/remove programs and uninstall the update - or use system restore.

The update doesn't appear in add/remove programs, and system restore doesn't restore any more. Could this be a virus or malware???
