Error message at start up
Hi guys,
I don't know what to name this issue. At start up I get error message saying that 'it can't open/find such such file and it needs to reinstall such and such program.' How to fix this? I just uninstalled a program and I'm afraid the program has something to do with this. Thanks guy, Yanne |

A little more info please. Does the PC boot up to windows, and what program are you talking about? Did you check your startup folder? Sounds like the program you just uninstalled is gone from your PC but probably still is listed to startup along with windows so it sounds like it's trying to do that but of course can't find the program now that you uninstalled it..

PC does boot up to windows. I really don't know what program that is. Something like registry fix up. Prolly has a set up to start something at start up. Just like the anti-virus programs.
I don't know where to find the start up folder. Sorry to be so clueless. I don't know much about computers

Run msconfig, go to the startup tab.
