Multiple OS question
Long story, but I installed Windows XP Pro on an SATA HDD. Already had Windows 2000 Pro installed on an IDE HDD.
So when I would turn the computer on, it would ask me which OS to boot from, which was fine. However, I took the HDD that has XP Pro out of the PC, yet it still asks me which OS to boot from. I have played around in BIOS and cant find anything to fix this. It is set up to boot from HD first and BIOS shows only one HD connected. If I select to boot from XP, it says it can't, which is obvious. How can I get it to boot normally from Windows 2000 without asking with OS to boot from? Control panel, system, advanced, startup and recovery. Pick the one that works as default and uncheck the box to display list.
