Winamp/mp3 Scheduled Task Issue
Hi. Ok, so I set my systems up to run mp3s as scheduled tasks. It acts as an alarm. The time hits, the mp3 is set to run, and boom, the mp3 wakes me up.
With my laptop, a few months ago it started acting funny. Winamp engages and plays the song. However, winamp does not show up in the taskbar, system tray, or anywhere else. Normally when I double click on an mp3, winamp opens and I can see it. When it runs as part of an mp3 scheduled task, I have to close winamp by going into the task manager and killing the process. My question is this - what did I do to invoke this type of behavior on my laptop, and how do I rectify it? I'm running XP MCE 2005 (supposedly based on pro) and do not have this problem on my other system which is XP pro. This happens when the scheduled task is run from operating state or a standby state.
