XP product activation key

Howdy guys long time no beg for help!
Is there a way to find the product key on your XP cd or in windows OS?

XP pro for 4 years, way too many things are going squirrelly. Slow as a snail, more freezes, etc, etc.
Time for a wipe and clean install eh!!!
Pulled all software CD/DVDs and manuals together. In the past, I've always written the "Product Key" # down on both front and back covers of the manual and leave the sticker on the jewel case when it comes with one on all my software.
Purchased XP pro from a build shop, a tiny manual with the product key rubber glued to the back cover.
Not today, some time in the distant past it fell off or I or someone else in the house took it off.
I freaked out big time!!! Tore through everything, Nada!
So, I figured I'll end up calling MS and begging for help.
Anyway, last place I looked, I stuck it on the inside cover of the case, must have been too clever for my own brain.

Thank you thank you thank you!!!
I wrote the PK code in my book, but used Jelly bean anyway and discovered that I miscopied a "K" for an "R". I'm gonna have to get my eyes checked.

Many years ago, my parents gave us their old IBM Aptiva, the original HD baked shortly after loading an upgrade version of 98.
For some reason, the Win 95 recovery disc did not work on the new drive. Which meant I couldn't load 98.
I called MS, and they gave me a key that allowed me to load Win 98 onto the new drive as a full version instead of an upgrade.

Thanx again Flanzig1
