Account gone, reset...

When I was logging into my home computer account, it popped up a message saying windows could not find my account and then it said it will use a temporary one.
Now all of my files are missing from my documents and all my settings are gone. The desktop is reset to the same way it was when I first created the account. Is there any way I could get my account back or at least recover the files?
