NTLDR is missing...press CTL+ALT+DEL to restart...
NTLDR is missing...press CTL+ALT+DEL to restart...
I recently had to RMA my motherboard and I recieved a new one back, I already had XP installed on my system before this. I re-assembled the computer and Windows would not start after trying to start from safe mode, last known good config...etc. So I figured that since it was a new board that Windows didn't recognize it so I reinstalled. I deleted my original partition, formatted the HDD, when it rebooted i got that message. How do I fix this? Edit: I am using a SATA HDD, SATA dvd-drive, and SATA dvd burner...if that helps. |

I have whatever Bios version it came with, it has the same version that my other board had ( they were the same board) and it worked fine.
EDIT: I'm all set, fixmbr fixed the problem for me, it took two tries though lol. Last edited by haggard21; 02-23-2007 at 11:07 PM. |
