command interpreter
when i start my windows 98 machine it comes to a screen that says starting windows 98 then it gives the command interpreter
how do i fix this? |

Do you mean "command interpreter can not be found" ?
This happened to me when command.com got deleted off of the C: drives root directory and I had to get it from another computer of the same OS version |

Boot with a 98 bootdisk and when you get the A:\> prompt, type in
sys c:

I believe it's;
"The following file is missing or corrupted: COMMAND.COM Please type the name of the Command Interpreter (Example C:\COMMAND.COM)" |
