Import Outlook Express Address Book

Needed fresh install of Win XP Pro since hard drive corrupted and confused.
Put in new hard drive and clean install and kept old hard drive to retain data and copy files at leisure. Tried to import Outlook Express 6 address book from the old drive. Old drive has only one identity- the main identity The address book sub- folders were not imported. Then I did a search on this forum and followed instructions of past advice of GLC to find the real address book on old drive. First I showed hidden files. Then I entered OE on the c: drive and file>import address book> from old hard drive by looking F:\documents and settings\username\local settings\application data\identities\string of #s\microsoft\outlook Express\. No address book. I look the same place on the old drive... I see files, but no address book or wab files. When I disconnect the c: drive and look at that sequence of files on the old drive, no address book. When I open OE I see the address book and all the address folders. I copy the wab to a floppy and I can see the sub folders., but when I connect back up the new drive, the the folders on the floppy do not show up and the address book showing on the floppy is the one that is on the c: drive,,, no sub folders.
How can I get the address book with all the address sub-folders? This guy has about 10 folders with lots of addresses and does not want to re type them in. Thanks

Look in docs and settings\username\application data\microsoft\address book. There should be a .wab file in there.
