Win xp Themes

I've seen in some pcmech videos and on some other places on the net where windows xp windows look rounder or like have different colors or the just plain look better. I wonder if there are like themes or something like that I could download?
Here is a picture of a modified xp.

See how the window is black and looks cooler.
Here is another one.

Is there a way I could do that?

There are many programs that you can download to change and download new themes:
Style XP
Aus Logics Visual Styler

I have used both and they are excellent programs.

If you want to make your Computer look like windows vista I would recommend Vista Transformation pack. It changes boot screen, theme, sounds, logon screen, and includes Windows Sidebar, and Tool Tips

Style XP is available as a trial, I used it for 2 months and not once did I have to register or purchase anything, I believe they disable some features like boot screen and mouse Icons but not Visual themes.

Auslogics sorry isn't free its 24.99

Vista Transformation Pack is Completely free and is by far my favourite.

If I install vista transformation pack can it be disabled and on our computer there are different accounts so could I set it to just work on my account and not any other ones?

If you are going to give Vista Transformation Pack a try make sure that you create a RESTORE POINT through Windows System Restore or even make a GHOST image. I've tried Style XP and Vista Trans Pack. Both are good programs. The thing I don't like about the VISTA TRANS PACK is the side bar. It just seems a little "clunky". Just my opinion.

Yes very true, and the Sidebar likes to make a duplicate of itself on start up so you will need to remove one of them from you startup programs. Most likely It will show one with all the icons on the side, and you will see duplicates all over the screen all you have to do is click the on of the Gear Cogs icon in the task bar and close one of them hoping that you closed the duplicate. If you close the original you will just have to move the icons back to the side bar or just leave them as you wish.

I'm also interested in the answer to this question. Was thinking about putting metallic Luna on my work account, but didn't want to effect the other 3 users.

Anyone have experience with themes & a shared computer?

I think that even with the TRANS pack the theme should still be applied to only the currently active user. Not 100% sure though. I know with StyleXP or Stardock (WindowBlinds) each user can have there own Theme.
