Reuse XP Pro OEM??
I'm thinking of buying another motherboard and cpu. If I use the same sata drive, memory, dvd-rom, cd-dvd combo drive, sound card, and video card, will I be able to reuse my XP OEM O/S?
If not, would a call to MS help at all? TIA Carl |

Yes, no problem. You may have to call to reactivate, but if it was last activated over 120 days prior, it should reactivate online. Are you going to do a clean reinstall or a repair?

Hi glc.
If I can do a repair, that would be great. I would sure need help with that if I go through with this purchase. Thanks for your help. It would save some $ if I don't have to buy another O/S |
