"Change user" problem in XP Home

Hello,

I recently built my own PC and it works nice. The only problem I have is the following :

I have multiple accounts in my XP home setup. When I am in an account, and use the "Change user" function (not sure about the exact terminology in English, I use a French version of Win XP) without closing the active session first, the screen goes black, and no signal is received anymore by my display. I have to reboot.

My solution (or turnaround I should say) was to disable the "Change user" function and force users to close their sessions before changing user.

Do you have any idea what might be wrong ?

Thank you,

louf

Make sure Terminal Services are started under Control Panel >> Administrative Tools >> Services. To set the parameters for this service (manual, started), select and right-click, or double click the service.
