Script errors
Running Win 2000,
Recently I've been receiving script errors when trying to use my Hotmail account. I've searched this forum for answers such as disabling script error messages or disabling javascript in IE options, but no help. Well, when I go to control panel, internet options and disable java I can sign into Hotmail but the main page remains blank and it won't open the inbox or anything else. Any other ideas? I use firefox for browsing but have IE on the machine just to run the e-mail.... switching to another e-mail service might be an answer but will it still leave the underlying problem unresolved?

Script errors are just that: script errors. You may try updating your browser to the newest version your OS will run and update it. If that does not resolve the problem, there are programming errors on that site that are beyond your control.
