Mouse Pointer doing strange things
Help...
When i move my mouse pointer on my desktop (win98se) the icons appear to 'run away' from it. If I choose to 'Auto Arrange' the icons, they all shuffle around when I move the mouse pointer over them. This does not happen anywhere but the desktop, ie windows are fine. I suspect it is a virus, but I have no idea what it may be called or how to get rid of it. Th computer still works fine, but it is a pain trying to click something on the desktop when it keeps moving! Can anyone help, much appreciated in advance. |

Do a virus scan with the latest definition files. I do believe that you have the W32.Magistr.39921@mm virus.

Thanks Hal9000, it was the magistr virus (or so it appears). Must keep definitions up to date!
