Supposing you have a power interuption at your home (and your PC is on at the
time) refuses to boot after this......you suspect that it may have damaged a cluster on the hard drive.....is there a way to run the error-correction utility from a DOS-prompt??? Or do I have to run the Repair Console?? The Operating System is WINXP PRO..... Thanks in advance for any enlightenment G |

Boot with the CD, log into the console, and run CHKDSK /R.
