Booting into safe mode.

Hello.

I recently encountered problems installing my video card drivers and now my computer just hangs after the black windows loading screen.

So now i want to boot into safe mode and get rid of the drivers i installed, but when i hit f8, it doesn't load the safe mode options screen, f8 just brings up a window that lets you select what device to boot from.

How am i supposed to boot into safe mode, if the button to enter safe mode is all ready being used for somthing else?

My motherboard is asus p5b-e with the latest bios.
running XP Media center edition SP2.

You are hitting F8 a bit too soon. Select the hard drive, then hit F8 again.
