Win2000 Install
My sister-in-law received a Dell workstation computer running Win2000. She messed up the OS and it won't start, even in Safe Mode. I want to do a reinstall of Win2000 but the computer doesn't have an internal CD drive. She has an external USB CD drive. Because of the slim workstation design it doesn't have a standard size bay for a CD drive.
Can I connect her computer to mine and install Win2000 onto her computer? Or is there a way I can get USB support during installation so I can use her external CD drive? |

Nope - pop the case open and temporarily connect a standard IDE CD as a slave to the hard drive.
