Help! Day light savings help please
Hi,
I have Windows XP Service pack one. So here is my question. Since the new daylight savings time, my computer clock will be off and everything will be screwed up because there is no DST update for SP1. What can I do? Im not willing to upgrade to service pack two. I have had way to many problems with it and everyone that has had it screwed up their computer. |

Well, as a SP2 user scince it came out, I can personally vouch for it. If installed on a clean copy of XP, it works extremely well, and addresses many problems that existed, not to mention the security breaches.
That being said, its obvious the update isnt available to you because you are on SP1, so I suggest simply changing the time manually for the time being... And if the system sets the clock back an hour again, perhaps disable the time updater untill the old daylight savings come into effect, if you catch what I mean. Good luck. |
