I have Server 2003, and i want to install XP home...
But I want to keep my old files and documents and all my installed games. But I dont want server anymore, just Home XP. What is the process I need to do? Thanks!

You can't downgrade like that. It requires a reformat.

Can I have two OS's? and will it run slower?
basically, since i cant downgrade, can i install win xp home and run that, but will my computer be slow from having two OS's running, or is it not running the other one thats not in use?

You'll basically set up a dual boot system and you'll just be running one OS at a time. You'll be asked which one you want to run during boot up. You can get a better understanding of dual booting by reading this first.

Please don't start a new thread - I've merged the 2 threads.
In order to dual boot XP and Server 2K3, XP has to be installed FIRST. |
