Stop Error

I have installed drivers for my graphics card (Nvidia TNTII) under Windows 2000

When playing half life, pressing ESC to get back to the menu and pressing RESUME GAME the PC gets a STOP error KMODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED in the file nv4_disp.dll, I know this is one of the dlls included with the graphics driver

Do you think I need to install DirectX 8 or 8.1? I only have DX7 at the moment

Thanks,

And I feel very strongly about what happened in the USA on September 11th and my thoughts go out to everybody affected by the tragedy, God Bless America

Yes it would be best to install directX 8.0 may this will help somewhat ...but also go look a the nvidia site for the latest driver for your card.
