Problem with PC Camera installation...

My friend give me a PC camera, the problem is there is no driver available. And the bigger problem is there is no brand/name of the camera on the box or camera itself. When i plug into my laptop (running XP SP2), it just detected as a 'PC Camera'.
Any idea how to install it?
Any reply is highly appreciated.

If it has a removable flash card, it would be easier just to get a card reader (usually about $15-$25) and not even install the camera software.

Kev, this sounds like a webcam, not a digital still cam.

pccamera,, I've got one like that... its a rather nameless brand lol

err, I forget where I found my drivers, because at one point I lost track of my CD...

dont know if you have the same exact one as me, but its a 6029 CIF (thats the magic words in google to find a driver)

with these generic cams, a driver can work for more than one model... so the best thing you can do is fiddle about the same way I once did, a year ago (when I had lost my cd haha)

Good luck.
