The error seems to stem most commonly from a codec error if you have a PVR installed. Uninstall any codec packs you've installed recently and reboot.

Hi Kram
i don't use the media centre for anything but listening to music now and then. This came preinstalled with the Dell system i purchased. Is there a way to disable the TV and radio feature from within the program? Doug |

If this is a recent problem, you may be able to get around it by simply using Sys Restore. Have you tried rolling back to a recent restore point?
