Question about Win XP Pro cd & activation
I was going to order a cd of Win XP Pro this weekend when a friend of mine told me he has the cd for XP Pro at home, however he had used it for one install on his sons' computer.
Is this cd worth using on another new install or will there be problems? THX CI |

You cannot legally use it if it's activated on another computer. It may activate, but it will invalidate the install on his son's computer.

Thanks for the answer to that glc. Neither one of us were sure if it was ok to use for another installation. Now that I know, I'll go ahead and continue with my original plans.
