Cannot access secure sites (?)
I recently uninstalled Norton Internet Security 2003. It was a bad uninstall, as I've heard others have experienced. Anyway, now that its off my laptop, I cannot get to sites like Hotmail, WellsFargo, Schwab.com, etc. Other unsecure sites like 'news' sites come in fine.
I seemed to have a simular problem several years ago, and got good advice from this forum. I think it was called an "indexing" issue, or something like that. Can anyone tell me what to try to be able to use my computer normally again? Thanks so much! Bruce |
