Problem with Windows XP

I have setup my bios and cmos i then put in my Xp disk and exited and saved. It restarted and went on to the load up screen and found all components. Another screen came up and said at the bottom:

Boot frem Cd/Dvd:

Press any key to boot frm Cd ....

Ntldr is missing

Press Ctrl alt and delete to restart.

It just repeats every time i load up whats wrong?

This could be a problem with the disk you are usuing, unfortunately. When it boots from the CD and says Ntldr is missing it more than likely means your disk is corrupted in some way that it can't load or find that. Try cleaning your disc with some water and a paper towel and dry it completely and pop it in. Try that out.

Still comes up with same message, is it only the disk that could have problems or could it be something else ?
