Windows won't boot
Alright my dad got this computer from my aunt (which booted into Windows 98 just fine) and I installed Windows XP on the hard drive (on my other computer) and now it won't boot into it.
It will get to the screen that has the 'safe mode' 'safe mode with command prompt' and all that stuff, but when you click one of them (doesn't matter which one) it will restart and go back to the same screen. -edit- No errors come up, just a black screen then restart And the hard drive works fine in my other computer Last edited by paradox; 04-08-2007 at 10:59 AM. |

Did you take the drive out of your Aunts machine and hook it up to another pc and then install XP?
Are the two machine IDENTICAL so that the drivers will work when you hook it back up to your Aunts machine?
