Windows Debugger

Okay last one, this is about some bizarre problem happening with video files on my computer.

For some reason, when navigating in XP to folders that contain video files, it causes Windows to call the default debugger. I have absolutely no idea where to begin even trying to solve this problem, any ideas? The files seem fine, and even after the debugger is called, I can navigate the "bad" folder, so it's very strange.

Thanks.

Are you able to play the questionable video files? It could be you have the "preview" folder view on and Windows doesn't have the proper codec installed so when you open the folder, it tries to generate a preview for the file and craps out.

Ya I can play them fine.

That's a good suggestion, but I don't think that's it. It happens even if the files are in "list" view. Plus when I do have thumbnails on, it seems to generate the preview fine. Ah this problem is annoying.
