Missing tools
I remember a while back, that I used to have "scan disc' and " caculator" icons in system tools. I found the scan disc in the tools tab/ properties of my C drive. but no calculator. This is an OEM version of Windows XP-SP2. I tried running "calc.exe" but Windows couln't find the file. I wonder if this was an intentional ommission or do I have to extract them from the installation CD ?

When you click onStart/All Programs/Accessories, the calculator icon is not just below Address Boob?

Did a quick search for Calc.exe and it's listed in C:\Windows\System32
|

calculator
Command promp is under address book. No calculator. Like to know the address for those boobs though.

calculator
No Calc in 32 folder. I dowloaded the calculator from Windows but dont understand why the calc and icons for scan disk are missing. I thought I had a clean install. This is a self new build about a year old. Hard drives were new and empty.
By the way- some others on other forums are missing them too. |
