Hi
Anybody ever seen a problem were by you create a file or folder in a directory and then do a refresh and the object dissapears from view? Its like the file is still there but not displayed as I get the following when I do a new .txt doc "New Text Document (3).txt". Thanks in advance |

Where exactly is the folder located?
Have you disabled the "hidden" features in folder options?

Hi, the folder is located in c:\ftpshare\Archive\SDTEST, which I have created. I have disabled Hidden Files. If I copy this folder and start again it works fine. But is becoming an ongoing issue now. Seems to be ok for a while then stops. Problem is that a batch file runs and dumps a file in that dir overnight. But with this problem I can't rely on the file being created.

I ran a CHKDSK on the drive and found errors on the drive. CHKDSK /f and the system recovered many orphaned files. The missing files then appeared and new files added tho the directory are now fine
Thanks for looking |
