Silly Question

What is the biggest difference between XP Home and XP pro
i have XP pro and my brother has XP Home
the only difference i see is that i get more updates than he does
but besides that what is the price difference for?

There wouldn't be any difference in the number of updates. It could be that he is using Microsoft Update instead of Windows Update. This would pick up Office updates and other non-OS updates.

Main difference is that you can join a computer to a domain with Pro. Most everything else is the same.
