window 2000 FTP web server
I got ahold of an old pc from were I work it's a Pentium II 350 MHz had 64 MB now its got 200 MB had 1 4.3 GB hard drive now its got the 4.3 and a 20 GB hard drive(s) running win 2000 pro it runs good and fast for just a FTP/WEB server but I was wondering if there is any services I can shut off to squeeze even now speed out of it ???
I'm not to familiar win win 2000 pro so I had to ask

Not that you would really notice. 2000 default installs are pretty clean.

Actually there is one service that you can disable that would help - the indexing service. However, if you ever do a file search it will take considerably longer if there's no indexes. Make sure you have the Messenger service disabled to avoid messenger spam.
