Why is this stuff still hanging around?
I created a folder called Internet Downloads and I downloaded an image. I no longer need the image so I deleted it and it went to the Recycle Bin. A few seconds later I opened up the Internet Downloads folder again and I saw the words "No file selected" at the top and a little bit below that there was a left pointing and if I click on that it would go to the previous image, and then there was a right pointing arrow, and if I click on that it would go to the next image. A little bit to the right of those two arrows was another arrow saying "rotate clockwise" and to the right of that another arrow saying "rotate counterclockwise".
Now this makes sense to have these little buttons or arrows if there are images in the folder. But there is NOTHING in the folder. I deleting the one and only photo in there, so the folder is completely empty. So what's the deal here? Why the arrows and buttons if there is nothing in the folder? And is there a way to remove that stuff? |

The folder is using the WinXP Filmstrip view option. If you don't want this option to show, click on View and select another folder view option.
