DVD Reader XP Drivers
Hi folks second question on my friends cmputer. He has a DVD reader with Roxio Creator 5 Basic as operating program The DVD reader won't recognize DVD disks. Went to Roxio for an update and cant get an answer because they report my request as an error. It probably needs a new driver but I don't know where to get one. The computer is on auto update for Windows XP so it should have all updated drivers I think or hope. Hope you guys have a suggestion on this problem

Version 5 has not been officially supported for some time now. And, yes, Rogers customer service is among the worst I've ever come across; so convenient that you can never use their website to get help. And that is not to mention that there has been three or four releases since then. Maybe the below might help:

Thanks for your replies, I went to the other site and what they were saying makes sence about basic being unsupported. I had a similar responds about Creator 9 where they wouldn't reply due to an error and someone on our forum told me how to get around it Thanks for your advice this will end this thread for me
